The debate over whether or not homosexuals should have the right to marry is huge (to say the least). It is dividing us across the nation and, in some cases, in the same household.
Please know that we, the writers of this blog, have nothing against gays or lesbians. In fact, we have good friends that fall into that category that we love very much.
But, Proposition 8 has asked to stand up for what we believe. And, we believe that "marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God." Furthermore, we believe failure to uphold this ideal of marriage "will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets."
So, come on California! The entire nation has its eyes on you!

What I think is disgusting is that some people expect everyone to be tolerant of their rights, and refuse to be tolerant of ours.
