Lies, Lies, Lies
How do you keep the peace and be honest in all your doings? Can someone please tell me the answer to this?

CREMATION
Last week a loving grandfather was cremated. CREMATED!
Early in his life, he had been an active, temple worthy member of the LDS Church. However, he made a few life choices that lead him away. At the end of his life, he was your stereotypical Las Vegas high roller with all the lifestyle entails.
So, near the end of his life, he told everyone that he wanted to be cremated when he passed away.
So, when he passed away last week, his children - who are all active LDS - cremated him. We are REALLY struggling with this! "Church leaders have counseled that only in unusual circumstances or where required by law should cremation take place" [Ensign -Aug. 1991]. We don't feel like the grandpa should hav been cremated. Afterall, he is in heaven now! We think his perspective on life would have changed. And, we think it was wrong of his children to cremate him. But, they say that they wanted to honor his wishes.
So, readers of Mormom Mommy Blogs . . . . what do you think? Do you think the grandpa should have been cremated according to his wishes? Or do you think his children should have buried him?

The Office
We have all recently become fans of the TV show, "The Office." We laugh and laugh. We have already watched the first two seasons in only a few weeks.
Now, please don't ruin what has happened in the most recent episodes. We just want to ask . . . Who is in your office? Or your spouse's office?
We know a real "Michael." He promises raises and promotions to everyone and then says they didn't go through because of clerical errors.
Anyone else?

Women Want to be Flat?
The results to our debate of fat vs. flat are in - obviously the winner was "Flat." Thank you to Stephanie and Lori who left comments. We appreciate it.
But, just as a second thought, what if you couldn't stuff or pad? What if you could not have surgery? Would that change anyone's mind?

Fat or Flat?
In this world where no woman is happy with her body, the question rises . . . would you rather be fat or flat?
More specifically, would you rather be curvy with a full bustline and fight with an extra 30 to 40 pounds? Or would you rather be your ideal weight and have a cup size of A or smaller?
So far, the debate weighs in with 1 of us would rather be fat and the other two would rather be flat. What do you think?

Can We All Just Grow Up?
Ok. We want advice. How do you handle people who get offended over every little tiny thing?
In high school, we all had the friend that you had to walk on eggshells around. Isn't it time that we all grew up? What happened to giving the other person the benefit of the doubt?
Bottom line. Here is what we want to know . . . Is it ok to end a friendship with someone because you are simply sick of the drama?
Here is the case in point. A friend's grandfather passed away on Dec. 23. One of us left town that night for the Christmas break. Anyway, she got a text telling her what happened. She sent a text back and then left for her trip for a week. She tried to call during her vacation, but could only leave a message. When she got home, she tried to call the friend again. Now, the friend is upset that she didn't do more. AAAYHHH! Enough already. Is it too much to ask for people to realize that other people have their own lives? We are all doing the best we can.
Advice, please!
